Important Announcement

  • June 2, 2020

We at St Mary’s Dental are pleased to inform you that as of Tuesday the 2nd of June the reception team will be there to take your enquiries and triage emergency appointments. If you do have a genuine dental emergency, please call the practice on 01780 755005.

At this stage, please do not attend the practice in person.

As of Tuesday the 9th of June, we will open flexible hours to see face-to-face emergencies.  Priority will be given to registered Denplan patients. For anyone who contacted the practice over the last 10 weeks, please note, our reception team will call you to arrange any appointments. Again, please do not come to the practice in person.

Please note, until we have satisfied ourselves that we have met our own exceptional standards for your and our team’s safety.
We will not be carrying out any non-urgent routine treatment that will result in the generation of large amounts/duration of aerosol (air bourne water spray), e.g. we cannot replace fillings, but we can repair them, scaling and polishing will be limited to hand instruments only. We aim to provide our usual full service once the Covid Alert has reduced to Level 2.

The team at St Mary’s Dental has been working tirelessly over the last 10 weeks; we have reviewed our patient journey and have implemented some changes. I appreciate these changes are going to take some time to get used to but please be assured they have been put in place to ensure your upmost safety. We will be posting a video of your new patient journey as well as a written summary on our website, Please also refer to our Facebook and Instagram pages.  We will also be uploading some resources on our website for you over the coming weeks. Please look out for these and share as much as you can. If you could provide us with your latest email address that would be great, email us at: reception@stmarysdentalstamford.co.uk.

Finally, thank you so much for your patience and understanding during the last 10 weeks. Your messages of support have been lovely and so uplifting on some dark days. We hope that you stay well.

Warmest regards,

Saima Rennie
Clinical Director
