Miss Saima Rennie

Saima originates from Edinburgh and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1998. She moved to Stamford in 2004 and now regards it as home, having spent most of her time since qualifying working in Lincolnshire, Peterborough and finally Oundle. She became partner of St Mary’s Dental Practice in 2016 and practice owner in 2019.

She has gained extensive experience in private dentistry, having achieved Certificates in Contemporary Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with Advanced Dental Seminars in 2007, Contemporary Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry with the Dominic Hassall Training Institute in 2013 and also a Certificate in Implantology with Nobel Biocare in 2013. She is also an Invisalign provider.

Within dentistry her main interests include restorations such as white fillings, crowns, inlays, bridges, veneers and more extensive cases such as smile makeovers, having carried out several over the past few years. She particularly enjoys updating her skills and knowledge and so regularly partakes in postgraduate courses.

Lisa Jamieson

Dentist

Dr Lisa Jamieson qualified as a dentist from Birmingham University in 1990. Having lived in the Deeping area all her life, she went straight into practice in Spalding, and also worked in Market Deeping before opening her first dental practice in Spalding in 2001. She opened a second practice in 2006 and ran both successfully until she sold them in 2019. Since then, Lisa has been working as a dentist in Norfolk, but is now delighted to be joining Saima and her team at St. Mary's Dental Practice in Stamford, after having previously worked with Saima a few years ago.

Lisa has over 30 years experience as a dentist and continues to enjoy all aspects of general dentistry. She undertakes educational courses to ensure she keeps up to date with new techniques and materials. Lisa has developed an interest in facial aesthetics, (Botulinum Toxin A and Soft Tissue Dermal Fillers), and is currently training at Harley Academy in London for a level 7 diploma.

Dr Piyush Patel

Dentist and Partner

Piyush qualified from Glasgow Dental School in 1997. In 2000 he achieved a diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPS).

His special interests are in cosmetic facial and dental aesthetics, placing and restoring dental implants, adult braces and offers facial cosmetics using dermal fillers and botox™ type treatments.

Dr Milin Damani

Dentist and Partner

He began his career in dentistry at Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry, in Plymouth. He has a special interest in implantology and is completing his postgraduate MSc in this discipline. He is also a proud member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

He also recently has visited Mini Smile Makeover Course and acquired a taste in cosmetic dentistry. He has a gentle and calming approach towards his work.

Tracy Nicholls

Dental Hygienist

I qualified as a dental Hygienist in 1991 at the Eastman Dental Hospital and started working in a dental practice that I worked in for 29 years. There I enjoyed looking after my regular patients and meeting and treating lots of new ones also.

I moved to Oakham last year after relocating from Essex, I love the vast countryside and open spaces and beautiful surrounding villages.

I have a wealth of experience to bring with me and love the interaction with people that being a hygienist brings.

Laura Whitton

Dental Nurse

I have been a qualified dental nurse for over 15 years working in both NHS and private practices. In this time I have qualified in impression taking and mentored trainee dental nurses helping them gain their qualification.

My favourite part of being a dental nurse is meeting all the lovely patients and making them feel at ease within the practice.

I am looking forward to becoming part of such a experienced team at St Mary's.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and cooking.

Christina Flannigan

Dental Nurse

I came to the UK from the Phillipines in 2004. I qualified as a dental nurse in Cornwall in 2007, I have nursde in various sectors from general dentistry through to orthodontics and Implants.

I find it a rewarding job which is why I enjoy being in this profession. I like to ensure patients are at ease and relaxed during dental procedures making sure they have a positive experience.

My main interests are charity work within the Filipino community in the uk and I am married with two children.

Susan Ferguson

Practice Lead/Treatment Co-ordinator

I am delighted to be part of the St Marys Dental Practice team. I have worked in Dental Practices for the past 7 years in various roles. I look forward to meeting the patients of the practice and do my best to help them with whatever they may need.
